The panel, “Power, Belonging, Divisions of Culture: Novels Exploring Contemporary America” will take place at The Key School, Saturday, April 29th, 2 p.m. in the Science Library Center 101-102.

Start Time: Saturday, April 29th, 2 p.m.
Location: Science Library Center 101-102

Join award winning authors Ami Sands Brodoff, Susan Coll, and Jung Yun for a discussion centering on the various cultures of contemporary America.

The Sleep of Apples, which calls into question many of our notions of madness, mortality and gender identity, is a finalist for the International Book Awards. Bookish People is a perfect storm of comedic proportions narrated by two very different women and punctuated by political turmoil, a celestial event, and a perpetually broken vacuum cleaner. O Beautiful is a "mesmerizing and timely" (New York Times) novel about a woman trying to come to terms with the ghosts of her past and the tortured realities of a deeply divided America.
