Ami will launch her new novel, The Awakening of Chaya Pearlman, to the TBE Community and public (friends and family all invited!) in a combination literary event and fundraiser on behalf of mental health initiatives. Mental health and combatting stigma against mental illness is a central theme and concern of her new novel. Ami will kick off the fundraiser with a $250 contribution toward future mental health initiatives, such as speakers, support groups, and outings and will donate a portion of every book sold that evening to the mental health cause. Come hear Ami discuss her novel, how she came to write this book, the nuts and bolts of her research, the seed of inspiration from her own family history, and a taste of the novel read by the author herself who will be in conversation with Ronnie Weyl. Ami will share a short reading from the novel, show slides, and be on hand to sign and inscribe copies of her book.
